We support TAMRIN

Coach Ridz & Coach Sha support Tamrin.

“Adalah menjadi satu keperluan untuk semua penceramah dan perunding latihan/motivasi mempunyai satu landasan untuk menjaga kebajikan, melakukan kerja-kerja amal, membina jaringan, memberikan pandangan, meningkatkan tahap profesionalisme, menjaga etika dan sebagainya.  Keahlian TAMRIN terbuka kepada Perunding Latihan, Motivator, Penceramah, Fasilitator, Pelajar dan sesiapa sahaja yang berminat.”   (http://www.muslimtrainers.org)

Alhamdulillah, yesterday we had the opportunity and ‘rezqi’ to attend an Iftar gathering organized by Tamrin. It was refreshing and simply fun to mingle around trainers and speakers.

Oh, we were super-duper excited –

Coach Ridz met Prof. Emeritus Abdullah Hassan (his professor back in IIUM *Coach Ridz got an A in Prof. Abdullah’s Communication Law and Ethics class*).  They had a chat about English learning and teaching in Malaysia.  To summarize, make English learning fun, enjoyable, practical for students (and teachers too).

Some wonderful quotes from my dear Prof. ,

“Language, English or BM must be used and spoken in its proper form of respect. Respect to the language and to people you speak to. When I was a young Malaysian student in England, even the toilet cleaner addressed me  as ‘Sir’.”
“When you speak, don’t rush. You have nowhere to go. Speak clearly”
“We need to get teachers to read. BM or English.”

Coach Sha met Puan Ainon Mohd.  Hip, hip, hooray!!!  It has been her routine to read Puan Ainon’s words everyday.  Food for thought.

In short, once in a while, make a point to surround yourselves with successful people.  InshaAllah, the aura of success will spread to you, too.

p/s:  We hope the guests last night enjoyed playing with IQ blocks.  Please share with us your IQ level, if you don’t mind *wink*

p/p/s:  Our deepest appreciation to Mr. Badr and Ms. Raidah for ‘sharing’ their car with us.  We had loads of fun talking and ‘sembang’-ing while swimming along the traffic.  What a great company! (please don’t translate that literally..just in case)
